processor - 80386DX minimum
90 or 120 Meg free hard drive space
16 Meg RAM
3.5 inch high density floppy or 5.25 inch high density floppy and SCSI CD-ROM
VGA or better display
All components should appear on Microsoft's Hardware Compatibility List

Installation Considerations

Name of domain or workgroup
Role of computer in domain or workgroup
Name of computer - must be unique
Directory structure and file system
Network adapter settings
Protocol configurations
Printer models, ports information, and versions
NT does not support any disk compression
Client license access is not included with NT
